Fretz Music Center is a retail business that provides consumers with instruments, sheet music, and instrument accessories. It is a local profit making company. Fretz's is run by the owner, William Sharrow. There are also other workers such as one part-time employee, about ten instrument teachers that are independent contractors, and two repair men that fix the instruments. The part-time employee is called when the store gets busy and on certain days. The busy days are Saturday and Monday.

The owner, William Sharrow, handles the book keeping for the store. When they purchase the items there is a list price on them. There are also standard industry discounts. The prices can also be determined by competition. The inventory is computerized.

There are no job positions available at this time but if there were the positions available would be a sales clerk, music teacher, and repairman. On the applications for an employee it would be required to have a good personality, be able to handle customers well, and to be knowledgeable of music. For a music teacher it is required to have a good personality, to be patient with students, and to have a lot of knowledge of music. They try to hire professional musicians.
