The Hilltown Township police force consists of fifteen officers. This includes the chief of police, Mr. Kerry Trauger, two sergeants, one detective, and three civilian employees. The chief of police directs and is responsible for the management of the police operations.

In Hilltown the most frequent non-traffic crimes are retail theft, vandalism, and domestic violence.

Hilltown's most frequent felony is burglary.
