The old arch bridge on Allentown Road has two
arches. |

This road was clearly not made for the type
of traffic that uses the bridge today. Cars and trucks need to wait for
traffic to pass from the opposite side. |

can be seen on the arch. |

Surface repairs are evident on one of the arches.
Both the arch on the right and the underside of both arches have been
recently cemented. |

Field stones (irregular in shape) were used
for the majority of the bridge structure. |

Repairs don't always preserve the charm of
the old stone bridge. In this view, part of the bridge looks like stone,
and other parts look like cement. |
