The picturesque Delaware Canal in Pennsylvania features many bridges. Most of the canal bridges are simple wooden beam bridges. This bridge in Point Pleasant is a metal truss construction. It is located just north of the new Point Pleasant aqueduct.

Rivets are used to connect the vertical and horizontal metal structures.    Diagonal tension members are also connected at these junctions using an eyebar system.
