The Riverton Belvidere Bridge uses 355 tons of steel.    The piers are stone filled and built on stone filled timber cribs and concrete filled steel sheet pilings.

The roadway is an I-beam-lock open steel grating floor.   Riveted braces.

The end posts are made of side channels, top plate, and lacing bars across the bottom.    A sidewalk (at left) of 3' 7" is cantilevered from the floor beams.

Truss compression diagonals create an interlocking "X" pattern.    Similar trusses are found on horizontal panels above the roadway.
