These big piles of rock are all over the place at the H&K Quarry in Hilltown, Pennsylvania. This quarry only has sedimentary rock. You will notice the different sizes and colors of the rocks. Different jobs require

different size rocks, so the quarry cuts the rocks to meet the needs of its customers. Sedimentary rock is formed over millions of years from sand, or other materials that were deposited by water, wind, or glacial action.
