Secreto said you can have schooling to be a chef, but most people
just teach themselves. The responsibilities as a chef / owner
are to have complete control of the company. There really is not
a salary pay range because a chef/owner pays themself with the
profits. At Bernadette's, the owner doesn't have an employer or
a boss to answer to. Other positives are that she loves what she
does. She did not plan her career as a chef which shows that you
can change your job to a chef easily. It is a good business, and
you get to be creative and express your abilities.
