HAIR DRYER

HAIR DRYER PARTS

ELECTRICITY

When the hair dryer is plugged in and turned on, the current flows through the hair dryer.
Switches for on/off control, rate of airflow, and temperature control the appliance. The circuit supplies power to coiled wire in the heating element.

The current makes the electrical motor spin, which runs the fan. The air moved by the fan is sent through the hair dryer, through the heating element.
The heat rising from the coil warms the air by convection. Hot air comes out of the hair dryer. The hair dryer dries the hair by speeding up the evaporation of the water from the hair's surface.
