SPRING FLORA OF

WEST ROCKHILL

Spring wildflowers and plants are a big part of the lush wildlife in Ridge Valley. Though most of these photos were taken in Ridge Valley, some were taken in other parts of West Rockhill. It is a beautiful area in the spring, so sit back, relax and ENJOY!

Most plants shown below form their flowers in the spring of the year. These flowering plants make seeds which will eventually grow new plants. To identify these plants, botanists identify leaf types and leaf arrangements. During spring or summer flower shape, flower color, seeds, and fruit can also be used to identify the plant. See how many plants you recognize.
