Busing Today

Today the closest bus line is available in Sellersville, PA from the Bieber Bus Company which runs a line between Wescoseville, PA and Philadelphia, PA. Several charter bus companies are regularly used by Pennridge area groups including Hagey Coach and Tours (Franconia), Perkiomen Valley Bus Co. (Pennsburg), Carl R. Bieber Tourways (Kutztown). Greyhound, Trailways, and Transbridge bus companies have lines that stop at the Doylestown Depot with connections throughout the United States and Canada.

In the year 2000, Pennridge School District still maintains its own fleet of buses though in recent years the Pennridge School Board has periodically considered privatizing the system (with a commercial bus company) as many school districts have done in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
