In order to improve the town, Perkasie commissioned a market analysis by the Delta Development Group, Inc in association with Rettew Associates, Inc. Their report was completed in April 1999. Many recommendations have been made with this plan to the Borough of Perkasie. Numerous suggestions are being acted upon. Some items were in progress before the posting of this web site. Several of these improvements are listed below while others appear on other separate pages of this Town Planning section of this web site.

Since parking is so crowded, there is a need for increased parking in the Olde Towne area of Perkasie Borough. Many individuals find it difficult to use businesses in Perkasie due to the parking situation. Perkasie is planning on making 60 parking spaces in two parking lots in the downtown area. |
