Pearl S. Buck Foundation
The Pearl S. Buck Foundation works with
people who are outcasts from their community. PSBF works with
care givers because they must work with disadvantaged families
in order to reach the children. PSBF focuses mostly on women because
most children in the foundation are cared for by single female
relatives. PSBF educates children who are in preschool, elementary,
high school, vocational school, and college level. That includes
tuition, supplies, and other expenses. PSBF offers health care
and AIDS and HIV prevention and treatment services. PSBF helps
people develop vocational and professional skills. The PSBF sponsorship
costs only $24 a month. They have several payment options so people
do not have to make one large payment. Sponsorship money is used
for the children and their care givers.
