This is a view that overlooks the gravestones at Blooming
Glen Mennonite Church Cemetery today. There are many different
gravestones that you can see. These gravestones tell many stories,
if you take the time to discover their meaning.
The gravestones above are located at
the Blooming Glen Mennonite Church Cemetery. These
gravestones are made out of marble; marble deteriorates with water
(rain) making them difficult to read. Some of the early gravestones
at this cemetery are written in German. This is because many of
the early settlers had migrated to Bucks County, PA from Germany
and northern Switzerland during the 1700's and the early 1800's.
