The Perkasie Borough provides many services to its citizens with the local taxes it collects. The public works department maintains borough owned streets and properties. For example, they clean storm drains and remove snow from the borough streets. A park system and bike path are also maintained. The borough has its own trash and recycling collection program. Perkasie Borough operates its own electric department, with wholesale power being supplied from PP&L (PA. Power & Light).
