The McKeever-Egan Insurance Inc is the oldest established insurance agency in Perkasie. It began in 1924 on Sixth Street. J. Paul Bergey started this agency and in 1954, Edward McKeever joined in the business. When Mr. Bergey retired, he sold the full ownership to Mr. McKeever. The business was incorporated as McKeever-Egan Insurance in 1974 following Mr. McKeever's death. In November of 1998 McKeever-Egan Insurance and First Savings Bank of Perkasie joined forces and formed the First Savings Insurance and Investment, Inc. The corporation does business as McKeever-Egan Insurance.
