Lenape Park - The Future?

This is a picture of people biking and walking on the bike trail. An exercise route was created by the Pennridge Jaycees in the park. Unfortunately vandals have destroyed many of the exercise units.		This picture is a view of Lake Lenape (East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek) taken in the fall of 1999. Note how new islands are forming between the twin bridges and Walnut Street due to runoff and the effects of  flooding.

No one can really determine what the future is going to be like for the Perkasie park system. However whatever happens to the park, the results are most likely decided by the people who go to the park.

If we continue to throw trash on the ground and into the streams, we won't have a park to enjoy!		This picture is of people in Lenape having their annual canoe races.
