Sellersville Artist who Enjoyed Painting in West
Rockhill
Walter E. Baum was a famous Bucks County artist. He is
well known for his Impressionist paintings. Walter was born and
lived in Sellersville,Pennsylvania (neighboring town of West Rockhill
Township). He made a Traveling Art Gallery that went to Bucks
County schools. Some pieces still are sent out on tour to schools
today. The Gallery was made to help students develop a greater
appreciation of Bucks County artists.
Walter Baum was part of the Phillip's Mill Community
Association. He was also part of the New Hope Art Association.
People say that Walter discovered the beauty of Main Street in
Sellersville and the surrounding communities.
