Today, farms in our community use mechanical equipment. It is difficult to compete with larger farm conglomerates, even with this mechanical equipment. Equipment is expensive, and must be maintained at all times. Safety is extremely important when working with these giant tools. Respecting the equipment and following all safety guidelines is of great importance.

Mechanical equipment allows farmers to complete more work in a shorter period of time. Our ancestors did much of their farming work by hand or with the assistance of horse power to complete their chores.
